Valentine’s Day is where you give something to someone you love. The best thing to give a girl on Valentine’s Day is roses with a little card in them. Girls also like to receive candy and jewelry. The best thing to give a guy is money and a card, clothes, or cologne. At my school we give crush pops to whomever we want to on Valentine’s Day.
It was established by Saint Valentine, a priest in Rome many years ago. Valentine’s Day always comes on February 14. Many people go to Valentine’s Day parties or dances.
Our high school has a Valentine’s Day dance. This is the best time to be with your girlfriend/boyfriend. Some guys propose to their girlfriends on Valentine’s Day. Some people pick Valentine’s Day to get married. There are probably more roses and candy sold that day than any other day of the year. It is a good holiday for romance. Many cards are sent to people with love and care on this special day that express good feelings about special people.
I think that Valentine’s Day is one of the best Holidays of the year.
