Horses can be a lot of fun to be around. I love to ride. I have always liked it. Horses are hard workers, and they do lots of work for farmers.  They have great beauty when the light strikes their coat just right. Horses have great love for their owners, and if they treat them right they may come back if they get loose from their pens. Horses are very loyal and nice to others, if you are nice to them. I have ridden a great horse that’s always kind to me.  Sometimes horses don’t mean to hurt you,  but they can get easily surprised by people and that’s when they don’t mean to hurt.  They are just protecting themselves. Horses can be nice to be around because if you are bored you can saddle them up and take a ride. To me, horses are the greatest companions to have.  They are very loving to some people. Without horses there would have been lots of trouble back when people had wagons. They couldn’t get around much. What I love to see a horse do is trot around gracefully and show off the true beauty of their coats and their movement.  Some people may think that horses are useless but they were big helpers before engines were invented.  They helped plant crops and did a lot more hard work and carried heavy bags from mills. A lot of people work them too much and make them really tired and sick. We should treat all animals right and not abuse or neglect them.  All animals should be loved the same as  a family should be treated.
