Hunting

What is hunting? You think of hunting and you think about going out, shooting an animal with a gun and it’s all over. But it’s not that simple. There are many aspects to hunting. For bow hunting you have to go out, scout, learn the terrain, set up the right stand locations, enter at the right time, be as quiet as you can, use the correct scent cover so the deer can’t smell you. You also have to have skill when it comes to shooting the bow. I consider fishing a hunting sport because you are going out there, choosing the right lure, the right location, and the right time of the day to go. There are a lot of things that can influence fishing.  If you let moss overrun your pond, it can ruin fishing. Also, you need to be on good patrol for otters and muskrats.
